Aurora Visitor Cabin

Due to renovations and upgrades, we are not yet sure if housing in Aurora will be available for the 2023 Communities Conference. This page will be updated when more information is available.

Aurora is the Twin Oaks Community Visitor Cabin, conveniently located about a quarter mile from the conference site, about a tenth of a mile from the parking lot, and a quarter mile from the river.  It consists of 6 rooms with a variety of beds and bunks in each, one full bathroom and one half bathroom, and a living room.

Due to the ongoing pandemic we’ve made a few changes to indoor housing this year, specifically that we will not be arranging shared housing (strangers in the same room). You are very welcome to arrange your own roommate situation if there are people you are comfortable sharing indoor sleeping spaces with.

There is a flat fee of $125 per room per night, with a minimum stay of two nights.

Some rooms accommodate 1-2 people and others accommodate 3-4 people. There is 1 room with a twin bed, 1 room with a queen bed, 1 room with a set of twin bunkbeds, 1 room with a set of queen bunkbeds, and 2 rooms that have both a queen & a twin bed.

If you’d like to reserve indoor accommodations, please contact us at conference@twinoaks.org with the subject line “Indoor Housing Request”
