Thank you for making the 2024 events such a success

Wow! We did it! Thank you to everyone who helped make the 2024 Communities Conference and/or the Convergence such an incredible experience- from organizers to interns to attendees, we appreciate the joy and resilience you brought to this year’s event.  Over 222 participants attended across the two events (plus several dozen Twin Oakers and other local communards), and the FIC and the Twin Oaks fire relief fund split about $2K from the glorious return of Harvey Baker as auctioneer.

Lets work together to make 2025’s events even better!

Now the real work begins.  Over a dozen Working Groups were formed at the Convergence who will be looking at everything from exchange programs, bioregional gatherings, and a Harm Reduction and Repair Council that you will hear more about over time. But to start, we want to capture important memories from the events so we can do even better next year.  

Event Feedback Forms

Below are two evaluation forms, one for the Communities Conference and one for the Convergence of Intentional Communities, we (meaning both Twin Oaks and the FIC) will take these super seriously.  Every survey gets read, every tick box and every radio button gets counted. Please complete these forms by September 20.

Didn’t attend this year but still have input or suggestions, or have thoughts that don’t fit easily into the evaluation forms? We want to hear from you! Have videos or photos to share? Here’s how!

Have photos or videos to share from the conference or convergence? You can share them by sending them to Conference@TwinOaks.org or Convergence@ic.org. Photos/videos will be stored in a shared drive here and will be visible to the public. It’s possible that Twin Oaks or the FIC might want to use some of these images for future promotion- we will only use/post these images elsewhere with your express and explicit permission. (tl;dr- We’ll ask you before we share anything you upload to the shared folder.)
